A mystery in a quiet Alpine village
A mystery writer decides to leave the city for a while, tired of the summer heat and crowds, and looks for a peaceful place where he can rest and find new inspiration. He chooses Fastigliano, a small village in the Italian Alps that seems perfect for getting away from noise and confusion.
But the peace does not last long.
He learns about the death of a young woman from the village, officially considered an accident. Some details, however, do not convince him. Out of curiosity, and perhaps because he is used to looking beyond appearances, he begins to ask questions.
Little by little, contradictions, silences and old relationships begin to emerge. What first seemed like a simple accident may be hiding something very different, and the writer’s investigation leads him closer to a secret involving some of the most important people in the village.
