What does “frociaggine” mean in Italian

Frociaggine is a vulgar term in Italian, derived from frocio, an insult with ancient and derogatory origins. The term frocio was already used in the past to offensively label homosexual men. The addition of the suffix -aggine creates a noun that indicates supposed characteristics or behaviors stereotypically and disparagingly associated with male homosexuality.

The exact origin of the word frocio is not entirely clear, but it comes from the Romanesco dialect.
